If you see ideas that NEED INFO, add a comment or the idea may be considered abandoned. | DrexelOne Mobile doesn’t do email because your phone already does. Rather than expend resources reinventing that wheel, we created instructions for how to setup your phone for Drexel email. |

Shuttle schedule even when it isn't running
We should be able to see every shuttle's full schedule regardless of whether the shuttle is "currently" running. This way we can plan accordingly. For example if we need to take it the following day but it has already stopped running that night
10 votesWe agree that the schedule information can be improved. IRT is working with Facilities (which operates the buses) to put the schedule information into a format that’s easier for DrexelOne Mobile to read. When we do, we’ll rework the presentation of schedule data. Thanks!

See activities
Can add a feature where I could see the activities of clubs or groups. Because I want to try out for the dance team and I want to know what there doing or if there practicing.

Manually delete classes
For labs we should be able to select that's it's a lab so it only shows up in the schedule every other week. Also for classes like univ101 that end after 5 weeks or classes that are cancled ahead of time we can manually delete the class ahead Of time so it doesn't show up in that days schedule

A higher resolution icon and larger tile size for Windows Phone 8
For example, I'm on an HTC 8X, and the Drexel logo would look much better if it wasn't pixelated.
Having a large tile would be nice; you could display more than just photos... Upcoming events, for example, could appear too.
6 votesWe will do a wide tile when we switch the app from WP7 to WP8. That is in the works, but it’s combined with a much bigger set of internal and user interface changes.
We’re hoping for a spring term release, but aren’t ready to commit to any schedule just yet. When we know more about the timing, we’ll let you know.

Upload photos to Candid Campus on your phone
The ability to upload a photo taken on a phone camera to candid campus.
2 votesWould you really use this or is it just the idea of it that’s interesting? (We’ve had this for about a year on the Windows Phone platform and we don’t think that anyone has ever submitted a photo this way except us during testing.)

Automatically sync due dates and appointments from the calendar on BbVista/Learn
Because Professors put dates for projects/papers/exams in BbVista and feed the calendar, the DrexelOne mobile app should integrate these important dates/times into the schedule of classes or other calendar. Students would then see all of their plans for the day on one interface rather than combining calendars on the phone manually.
FYI: I have a Windows Phone so there's no Drexel Learn App and DrexelOne Mobile does not integrate my important course-specific dates.39 votesAutomatically adding the Bb events to the main calendar could lead to duplication. Would it be helpful if, instead of changing the phone’s calendar, the app showed date-based events in the agenda view of the course schedule? Would you like the option to add selected events to the phone’s calendar? Would app-based reminders be useful?

Store user information offline
Store data offline and have it setup to sync, so you aren't at the mercy of wifi or mobile data to check something simple like your course schedule or or recent news and events. Most of all it would save people time.
19 votesThe complexity of doing this on the other platforms is high and this suggestion hasn’t received much support. Can those of you who like this find out if your friends would like it and ask them to vote?

Make Candid Question as functional as the web version
It would be cool to be able to vote on the question from the App and also be able to write and read the comments, just like the website.
5 votesThis is in the Windows Phone version of the app and is coming to Android and iOS.

Show a weekly block schedule of classes
When I currently look at my achedule, I just see a list of classes. If I click Schedule I can see class meetings in a list. Give me a tab where I can view the full week as a block schedule.
22 votesThis is in the Android and Windows Phone versions of the app and is in development for the iOS app.

Thnks for the great idea. We’re working on this for a summer release. It’s tied in to a larger DragonCard merchant project that promises additional features.

Rec Center Class Schedules
Add the recreation center's class schedules to see what is available and all of their services offered. If possible it would also be nice to add the "reserve your spot" for group exercise classes.
45 votesWe’re looking into what data is available for us to bring into the app.

Show me on a map where each of my classes is located on a map.
My first few terms I was told which building my class was in, but I did not know where said building was located. Google maps does not show building location based on the building name. For example, where is the Korman or Peralstein building?
6 votesThis is in the January release for Windows Phone and will be added to the Android and iOS versions soon.

Show registration Time Ticket
Registration is tomorrow and I want to see what time slot I have on my phone, rather than have to go get my laptop to see!
20 votesDo you have have any idea of where in the app you’d like to see such information?
How far in advance of registration opening would you like to see such information?

Add passcode lock
If some one gets into your phone require a passcode to get into the actual DrexelOne application.
9 votesThe PIN has been part of the Windows Phone app for several months now. Does anyone use it? There hasn’t been much call for this since the last round of comments.

When the Office of the Provost completes its move to the university events calendar, this will become possible. Note that there are a lot of different academic calendars and we’re not yet sure how to present the info in a good way. We’ll give more thought to that once the information is accessible.

Instead of selecting each course to view grades there should be an area that lists all recently changed or updated grades.
Much quicker than selectin each course and loading the grade book to see if I have any new grades up

To expand the app to the lager screen of tablets
By expanding the app to the iPad or other tables you can use the larger screen size to add a lot more functions. For example you can display walking directions next to the map when you chose one building to another. You can also add the ability to search classes easier with split screen search view. I have a lot more ideas. This is just the tip of what you can do on a lager screen.
34 votesWe are now in the planning stages for tablet versions of DrexelOne Mobile. Like the phone apps, this will be mostly a dashboard that lets you see information more than a replacement for the data-updating capabilities of the web-based DrexelOne.

Searchable course catalog
Make it easy for us to find courses that will be offered each term.
11 votesWe’re investigating how to interface to the new course catalog from the mobile app.
-
Show account balance and financial aid info
Add the ability to view our student accounts (account summary by term, overall financial aid status, etc.)
27 votesThis idea sounds good. However, getting account and aid balances is challenging.
Use the UserVoice comments area to help us flesh out the details of what you all want this function to do and use your votes to let us know how popular it would be.
Without a dialog in comments to help better understand this idea, we won’t be able to move it forward.
