ID sync
Drexel app should be able to work as an ID including student picture, DOB, and even access dragon dollars at stores through QR code
There’s not yet an economical way to extend the phone reading capability to our merchants. The DragonCard office and IRT are working together to consider alternatives that move in this direction, but with nothing definite on the short-term horizon, we’re closing this idea to give you back your votes so that you can support other suggestions. Thanks for the idea.

On behalf of the DragonCard Office - D1 team is correct ... The ability to accept transactions via the app a our off campus merchants requires a significant upgrade. The fact is most of our merchants are small businesses. With that said, we are exploring new and creative methods of payments and also talking with some campuses who use a similar concept for access control into their buildings.

How about integrating our cards into the Windows Phone Wallet? Like the AMC app does for their rewards card, I then just have then scan my phone for my card at the theaters.

To do the QR thing, every merchant would need new readers and software. Although the D1M team doesn't run the DragonCard system, we suspect that the sales volume isn't there to make this a good investment for the retailers or the DragonCard office. Thoughts?

What would stop someone from getting a picture of your QR code and using it for their transactions?
Are you really asking the app to be able to show all of that personal information in one place? Would it not pose a security/identity theft risk?
